The Survival Performance Laboratory is an Event for all artists who have the desire and interest to respond to the chosen theme of "Survival" creatively.

This Event is geared toward:

  • Participants in the various Survival Workshops: who are welcomed to further develop and apply the elements learned in the duration of the Laboratory Festival independantly.
  • Performance Artists of the Survival Festival.
  • Resident Artists of the BLO-Studios, Berlin.
  • And in addition, all are invited who share an interest in Performance Art, and who may perhaps be influenced and inspired by the Survival theme or Festival to create something themselves.

The Survival Laboratory is an open platform for an artistic exchange of ideas, experience and technique. Over the time frame of this intensive Week of working; the exchange of individual experiences, ideas, techniques, visions and performances influenced by the theme "Survival" will culminate in a finale Perfomance event, presented to the Public, full of Solo and/or group performances centered on the Survival theme.

All participants of the Laboratory have the possibility and are welcome to work together with other performers of the Festival as well as Artists from this interesting collective at the BLO Studios, or to create a work in solo. All are welcomed with their respective projects and workshops to influence or the very structure of the Festival.
