"Un-necessary Repairs" ist der Arbeitstitel unter dem die Künstler der Performunion Open Space, Michael Steger (Schauspieler und Performer) Andeas Stadler (Performer) Nicholas Puyjalon (Performer) spielerisch versuchen den Anforderungen des Diverse Universe Performance Festival 2010 zu begegnen.

“Strolling Player” is traditional play in Japan. Stroller visit the places have celebrate to help to have more luck, happy and pleasure. Oikado Ichiro strolling around the world for 20 years, now.
“Kappa” is one of the most popular Spirit in Japan. They are living in the water and always look for place where the people enjoying. Because they want to join to drink, to dance… This dance is based classic Japanese dance use many masks. And bigining of the show Kappa going to dance “Lion Dance” Because the Lion eat all negative to make a space to invite more happy.

NON GRATA

Um den Namen NON GRATA rankten sich lange Zeit die verschiedensten Vertuschungen und Verdächtigungen. Angesichts des Todes der Kunst durch Konventionalisierung hat er die schreckliche und ungewollte Entkörperung der Menschen, von der die Bedeutungslosigkeit der zeitgenössischen Kunst ausströmt, verkörpert. Für diejenigen, für die die Welt der Kunst dort beginnt, wo die Kunstwelt endet, war NON GRATA ein Befreier, der orphische Bruch auf dem scheinbar unabänderlichen Weg, welcher uns wie auch immer in die Irre führt, er ist eine Heilung vom Inzest. Das Hauptanliegen der Gruppe ist ethischer Natur- es ist das Abbild des Primitivismus, des Unpersönlichen und der experimentellen Kreativität. Die Performances der Gruppe finden nach der Logik, Regeln zu vermeiden statt. Die Präsentationen sind physische Texte, deren Ortographie und Lesung durch reale Aktion durch die Gruppe bestimmt werden. Aesthetische und provokative Herausvorderungen werden immer wieder an Orten präsentiert, wo die Kunstwelt nicht funktioniert.

Cynthia Norton

Ninnie Nectar - 2009

Cynthia Norton is a Kentucky native where in the environment she developed her artistic identity since early childhood. Norton relates sculptural and sonic interpretations of the domestic traditions of her southern cultural heritage, creating video quilts, instruments, moonshine stills and kinetic dress sculptures. In 1993, while pursuing her degree in Time Arts, Norton developed her idiosyncratic performance personae of Ninnie Naïve (based upon the classic country comedic genre of the 'rube,' such as Minnie Pearl or String Bean). Currently, Ninnie is 'Ninnie Nectar' a budding musical naiad.

Norton has traveled extensively concocting sculptural installations and her own special music on musical instruments of her own making. Her sculptures are traveling in a group exhibition entitled, "The Old Weird America" which explores the further transcending limits of traditional art genres, folk aesthetic and media.

Travis McCoy Fuller

Travis McCoy Fuller is a visual, sonic and performance artist currently living and practicing in Rome, Italy. He was one of the founders and organizers of the late TEST performance art initiative in Boston, USA and is a member of the Los Angeles based artist collective Obscurities. He has exhibited his work widely throughout the US, Europe and South America. His practice includes, live sound performance, live action performance, drawing, murals, printmaking and experimental instrument building.

Instead of unity it seems like a foreign object in the system, an abscess, that is placed there as a sample of unembellished world. To be grounded on honestly, more rightly on the open existence of reality."

The metal dance is an audio performance.
Generally music is a background for dancers. When moving on a large metal surface with piezzo microphones, a body generates sounds that suggest a dance.The purpose of the metal dance is to focus on this feedback point between action and sound.

TSUNAMI KILLCORE & FOBIA

Turbulent atmospheres, dark revolting beats, guitar layers and vocals charged of subversive energy; two women blending sonic forces into a set of experimental techno, punk and electronica.

Tsunami Killcore is a one-woman project by spanish producer and intermedia artist Sofia NM. With a background in electroacoustic music, noise and proto-punk, her sound often lies between rock and electronics .
Fobia, DJane, producer and sound researcher of the evil, operates the Seven Samurai music label and will be supporting the set with her dark ambient and noise.
